Apple has recently launched Apple iPhone with Fingerprint scanner technology is claimed to have hacked by German hackers.A group of German hackers claimed to have cracked the iPhone fingerprint scanner on Sunday, just two days after Apple Inc launched the technology that it promises will better protect devices from criminals and snoopers seeking access.
If the claim is verified, it will be embarrassing for Apple which is betting on the scanner to set its smartphone apart from new models of Samsung Electronics Co Ltd and others running the Android operating system of Google Inc.
Two prominent iPhone security experts said that they believed the German group, known as the Chaos Computing Club, or CCC, had succeeded in defeating Apple's Touch ID, though they had not personally replicated the work.
One of them, Charlie Miller, co-author of the iOS Hacker's Handbook, described the work as "a complete break" of Touch ID security. "It certainly opens up a new possibility for attackers."
Apple representatives did not respond to requests for comment.
CCC, one the world's largest and most respected hacking groups, posted a video on its website that appeared to show somebody accessing an iPhone 5S with a fabricated print. The site described how members of its biometrics team had cracked the new fingerprint reader, one of the few major high-tech features added to the latest version of the iPhone.
The group said they targeted Touch ID to knock down reports about its "marvels," which suggested it would be difficult to crack.
"Fingerprints should not be used to secure anything. You leave them everywhere, and it is far too easy to make fake fingers out of lifted prints," a hacker named Starbug was quoted as saying on the CCC's site.
The group said it defeated Touch ID by photographing the fingerprint of an iPhone's user, then printing it on to a transparent sheet, which it used to create a mold for a "fake finger."
CCC said similar processes have been used to crack "the vast majority" of fingerprint sensors on the market.
"I think it's legit," said Dino Dai Zovi," another co-author of the iOS Hacker's Handbook. "The CCC doesn't fool around or over-hype, especially when they are trying to make a political point."
Touch ID, which was only introduced on the top-of-the-line iPhone 5S, lets users unlock their devices or make purchases on iTunes by simply pressing their finger on the home button. It uses a sapphire crystal sensor embedded in the button.
Data used for verification is encrypted and stored in a secure enclave of the phone's A7 processor chip.
Two security experts who sponsored an impromptu competition offering cash and other prizes to the first hackers who cracked the iPhone said they had reviewed the information posted on the CCC website, but wanted more documentation.
"We are simply awaiting a full video documentation and walk through of the process that they have claimed," said mobile security researcher Nick DePetrillo, who started the contest with another security expert, Robert Graham. "When they deliver that video we will review it."
The two of them each put up $100 toward a prize for the contest winner, then set up a website inviting others to contribute. While the booty now includes more than $13,000 in cash, it was not clear that the CCC would receive the full payout, even if DePetrillo and Graham declared them winners.
A micro venture capital firm known as I/O Capital, which had offered to pay $10,000 of the prize money, issued a press release late on Sunday saying that it would make its own determination about who won the contest.

Microsoft has unveiled a new logo. Bing is the search engine of Microsoft.Microsoft has revamped its search engine Bing by incorporating features such as social search options, 'page zero' tool and adaptability across devices in an effort to better compete with rival Google.

The software giant has also unveiled a new golden orange logo for the Bing .

"It is designed to 'instantly feel at home alongside all Microsoft products', reflecting the growing presence of Bing across Microsoft's various devices and services," said Scott Erickson, a senior director on the Bing brand team, in a blog post.

One of the biggest design updates in the new Bing is a combined region on the right side of the search results page that displays related content both from social networks and from 'entity' entries about people, places and things.

Another new feature, dubbed 'Page Zero', helps user to get useful answers to a query before opening the traditional page of search results.

"Start to type a query, and Page Zero will show you content that's likely to be helpful before you hit 'Enter'," the blogpost said.

Page Zero can also help filter out results that a user don't want by letting you disambiguate between similar or related topics.

"The new Bing is also built to look great and work well across all the devices you use, from phone to tablet to desktop, including recent mobile enhancements," the blogpost said.

Microsoft is has also updated Snapshot, a feature announced a year ago which showed what 'Bing knows' about a person, place or thing.

"The improvements we are releasing in this latest release of Bing.com are the beginning of a new, more modern era for Bing," Lawrence Ripsher, General Manager of User Experiences, Bing said in a blogpost.

"We believe this reinvention will give people faster access to information, more efficient ways to get things done and a unique and human perspective on search, all delivered through a beautiful experience," he said.

Bing is the second most popular search engine after Google, according to Internet analytics company ComScore.

Google search engine has nearly 70 per cent share, while Bing has 17 per cent share in searches, according to the ComScore's latest rankings.

Facebook is on of the leading social networking sites.Generally, clicking like on facebook is a common act done.Clicking "Like" on Facebook is constitutionally protected free speech and can be considered the 21st century-equivalent of a campaign yard sign, a federal appeals court has ruled. The 4th US Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond on Wednesday reversed a lower court ruling that said merely "liking" a Facebook page was insufficient speech to merit constitutional protection.
Exactly what a "like" means, if anything, played a part in a case involving six people who say Hampton Sheriff B J Roberts fired them for supporting an opponent in his 2009 re-election bid, which he won.
The workers sued, saying their First Amendment free speech protections were violated.
Roberts said some of the workers were let go because he wanted to replace them with sworn deputies while others were fired because of poor performance or his belief that their actions "hindered the harmony and efficiency of the office."
One of those workers, Daniel Ray Carter, had "liked" the Facebook page of Roberts' opponent, Jim Adams.
US District Judge Raymond Jackson in Norfolk had ruled in April 2012 that while public employees are allowed to speak as citizens on matters of public concern, clicking the "like" button does not amount to expressive speech. In other words, it's not the same as actually writing out a message and posting it on the site.
Jackson acknowledged that other courts have ruled that Facebook posts are constitutionally protected speech, but he said in those cases there were "actual statements." Simply clicking a button is much different and doesn't warrant First Amendment protection, he wrote.
In his ruling, Jackson acknowledged the need to weigh whether the employee's speech was a substantial factor in being fired. But the judge wrote that the point is moot if "liking" something isn't constitutionally protected speech. The three-judge appeals court panel disagreed, ruling that "liking a political candidate's campaign page communicates the user's approval of the candidate and supports the campaign by associating the user with it. In this way, it is the Internet equivalent of displaying a political sign in one's front yard, which the Supreme Court has held is substantive speech."
The case was sent back to the lower court.
Facebook and the American Civil Liberties Union, which filed friend of court briefs in the case, applauded yesterday's ruling.
"This ruling rightly recognizes that the First Amendment protects free speech regardless of the venue, whether a sentiment is expressed in the physical world or online," Ben Wizner, director of the American Civil Liberties Union's Speech, Privacy & Technology Project, said in a written statement.
"The Constitution doesn't distinguish between 'liking' a candidate on Facebook and supporting him in a town meeting or public rally."
An attorney representing Roberts, the sheriff, did not immediately return a phone message seeking comment, nor did an attorney representing the employees.

Google is one of the most widely used search engines.Google is planning to develop a new interface for browsing on mobile.Ben Gomes, the India-bred techie who oversees Google's handling of 100 billion searches a month, believes a new voice-based interface is needed for the next frontier of search centred round mobile phones and tablet computers.
"Now search is becoming mobile - on phones and tablets. The challenge is that it is on a small screen, so it's hard to type. The opportunity is that it's got a really good microphone and a touch screen," he said.
"It can enable a new kind of interface. So we realised we want to build an interface that was much like the way you talk to some person and ask a question," Gomes said.
And while the Google search app can already respond to questions using voice-based software, Gomes told the BBC that the process is "going to get better and more intelligent".
The Tanzania-born, India-bred, US-educated vice-president of search is responsible for helping to answer queries in the shortest time possible on desktops, tablets and phones.
Search is Google's cash cow, bringing in a majority of its USD 50 billion revenues last year. It is also, said Gomes, "about having a continuous conversation with the user to find out what he wants".
Described by BBC as a "boy-like 45-year-old guru of search in Googleplex", the company headquarters in Mountain View, California, Gomes works out of an untidy cubicle with four other top engineers.
Gomes and his team work on "their fine-tooth comb search of the worldwide web to serve up the popular search engine".
He said: "When I joined Google in 1999, search was about basically finding the words that you search for in a document. Then we took this view that we were going to understand what you want and give you what you need."
Trawling through over 20 billion webpages a day, Gomes and his "army of search" - a substantial number of Google's 44,000 employees - use algorithms to make search intuitive, multimedia and super smart.

Gomes is especially proud of Knowledge Graph, a new function launched last year to make the site's algorithms "act more human" in an attempt to offer instant answers to search questions.
"It's a database of all things in the world. It pulls together different databases and unifies them into a single coherent one that has about 500 to 600 million people, places and things in them and about 18 billion attributes and connections between those things," he said.
Google handles 100-billion plus searches every month, or over three billion a day. A good 15 per cent of the search questions it sees every day are new.
When Gomes joined Google in 1999 after a stint in Sun Microsystems working on Java programming language, some searches could take up to 20 seconds. Today a search for Ben Gomes on Google shows about 19,000,000 results in .28 seconds.
Gomes, the son of a car distributor father and a school teacher mother, moved to the US 25 years ago. He went to Berkeley, where he received a PhD in computer science.

Apple is one of the most leading and sophisticated electronic goods company. The are most awaited versions of Apple in iPhones are Apple iPhone 5C,Apple iPhone 5S. Apple has revealed the details about next generation smartphones. Two iPhones, one called the iPhone 5S, the other the iPhone 5C. Goldish-champagne and maybe even graphite as possible color options, in addition to the usual black and white.
The iPhone 5C is likely to be the event's main attraction, in part because of its predicted low price. Some of us think the "C" stands for "cheap" or "China," its prime target market, though it could also stand for "color," because of the variety of its hues that will likely be available. The iPhone 5C, likely housed in a tough, plastic casing, may come in a variety of bubblegum-like colors. Those colors — which may be reflected in Apple's press invite, above — will set the phone apart from its more expensive sibling which would have the iPhone's usual aluminum casing.
The new flagship iPhone, the predicted 5S, will get more color options too, if rumors prove correct. It's likely to come in a gold or champagne-like aluminum finish, and maybe also a graphite gray color, in addition to the current black and white options.
The new flagship iPhone, the predicted 5S, will get more color options too, if rumors prove correct. It's likely to come in a gold or champagne-like aluminum finish, and maybe also a graphite gray color, in addition to the current black and white options.

A Google image search for "gold iPhone" brings a number of mock-ups for the phone, none of which have yet to be declared legitimate.
Some have referred to the gold color as "champagne," and though it might be accurate, Apple can't use the word without potentially facing angry reactions from French winemakers. The Interprofessional Committee for Champagne Wine "has made clear its intention to challenge Apple if it dares to invoke the iconic French brand," according to The Local, a website that shares "France's news in English."

Color options aside, the iPhone 5S will bear a nearly complete resemblance to the current iPhone 5. There will be some under-the-hood improvements and new features, however.

A fingerprint scanner may be integrated into the new iPhone's home button, to help enhance security. While that has been reported previously, an Australian teen took it a step further and recently shared what he claims is the fingerprint scanner component that Apple will use.

Examination of the purported iPhone 5S bodies indicate that it will also likely have a better camera flash (one that uses two LED lights instead of one) and a larger battery.

In the U.S., the new iPhones likely will be available Friday, Sept. 20, based on Apple's history of selling phones a week and a half after their unveiling.

NASA has a robust program of exploration, technology development and scientific research that will last for years to come.Since its inception in 1958, NASA has achieved many great scientific and technological feats.
NASA has developed a new camera system that can not only take pictures of alien rocks, it also draws meaning out of them allowing a planet rover to decide if it should keep exploring a particular area or move on.
The Curiosity rover exploring Mars boasts impressive technology but future rovers will need more smart technology to explore more distant worlds, researchers said.
To help future rover and space missions spend less time waiting for instructions from Earth, Wagstaff and her colleagues developed an advanced two-lens camera, called TextureCam.
Although Curiosity and other rovers can already, on their own, distinguish rocks from other objects in photos they take, they must send images all the way to Earth for scientific analysis of a particular rock.
This process costs time and limits the potential scientific scope of rovers' missions. TextureCam can do the analysis by itself, researchers said. At the beginning of each Martian day, called a sol, scientists on Earth upload an agenda to a Mars rover. This scientific schedule details nearly all of the rover's movements: roll forward so many meters, snap a photo, scoop a soil sample, run rudimentary tests on it and move on.
Even moving at light speed, instructions from Earth take about 20 minutes to reach the surface of Mars. This 40-minute round-trip makes real-time control of the rover impossible. On Jupiter's moon Europa, where astrobiologists suspect extraterrestrial life could exist, the delay balloons to over 90 minutes.
Mars-to-Earth communication costs precious power and trickles at a bandwidth of around 0.012 megabits per second - about 250 times slower than a 3G cellphone network. Mars orbiters can help speed up the data transfer rate, though the satellites only orbit into correct alignment a few short minutes each day. Curiosity's constrained connection limits the number of Martian images it can send back to Earth.

Samsung Note3 gear is the most awaiting Samsung product in the market.Samsung is planning to release Samsung Note3 gear on September 25.Betting big on premium products to boost sales during the upcoming festival season in India, consumer electronics major Samsung is planning to launch over half a dozen products including a 10-inch tablet and a spacious refrigerator in the next three months.
Focusing on increasing consumer base in the home appliance segment, Samsung will launch its new 'side by side' refrigerator by the end of 2013 in India. The fridge would cut down power consumption by 40 per cent with a 10 year warranty, a top company official said.
"Ultra high definition TV is the next big thing in India as demand for Large screen TV is growing there. In the home appliance segment, we see the big demand in the refrigerator segment and that is why we are focusing on better looking ones as it would be a long term investment for customers," Samsung senior VP (CE division) Atul Jain said.
The side-by-side refrigerator would help customers due to its innovative design as there would be a show case for instant access of frequently used items and an inner case for longer storage ingredients.
Elaborating on the UHD TV market, Jain said there is a lot of demand for large screen TVs in India which are 40 inch and above.
"We have come out with a new technology called EvolutionKit using which customers can update their TV sets at par with the new technology devised by Samsung from time to time," Jain said.
Apart from the Note 3 and Gear which the company would launch on September 25, Samsung will come up with Note 10.1 in the last week of October, just before Diwali.
"The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) would have features including a 10-inch display, 1.9 GHZ Octa Core processor (for 3G / WiFi only version) and 3GB RAM.

Microsoft  is one of the well known company to everyone . Microsoft has launched Microsoft Xbox music on web for free. Microsoft is making its Xbox Music streaming service available for free on the Web even to those who don't use Windows 8.
The expansion beyond Windows 8 devices and Xbox game consoles starting on Monday is intended to bring new customers into the software giant's ecosystem of devices and services and could help it compete with other digital music offerings like Pandora, Spotify and iTunes. It's also an acknowledgement that the music service hasn't done much to drive sales of the Windows 8 operating system.

The move represents another step toward Microsoft's goal of becoming a company that sells devices and services, rather than primarily software, said Michael Turits, an analyst with financial advisory firm Raymond James. It comes on the heels of Microsoft announcing it would buy the mobile phone handset manufacturing business of Nokia Corp. for $7.2 billion and that CEO Steve Ballmer would step down within 12 months.

"They've said they're going to be a devices and services company. We know they want to be a device company since they're buying the Nokia phone division," he said. "This kind of thing gives more credibility to the idea they'll be more of a services company as well."

Most buyers of the new Windows 8 operating system discovered Xbox Music because it's the default player for music files that people have imported from elsewhere, according to Xbox Music general manager Jerry Johnson. Opening it up to the broader public would give more people a chance to see the benefits of having multiple devices linked to Microsoft's platform. Its music service, for example, will save favorites and playlists across PCs, Windows Phones and Xbox game consoles.

"To actually build that ecosystem, we need to bring people into it," Johnson said.

Xbox Music allows people to choose from 30 million tracks and stream them for free with ads. The service sells downloadable tracks that have been kept off streaming services by artists or labels. A radio service on Xbox Music also generates song playlists automatically along genres or similar artists.

Butterfly is a well known creature to everyone. The scientists have designed a new nanodevice called as butterfly inspired device.By mimicking microscopic structures in butterfly wings, researchers have developed a nanodevice smaller than the width of a human hair that could make optical communication faster and more secure.
The international team of researchers from Swinburne University of Technology in Australia and Friedrich-Alexander Universitat Erlangen-Nurnberg in Germany, have produced a photonic crystal that can split both left and right circularly polarised light.
The design for this crystal was inspired by the 'Callophrys Rubi' butterfly, which has 3D nano-structures within its wings which give them their vibrant green colour. Other insects also have nano-structures that provide colour, but the Callophrys Rubi has one important difference.
"This butterfly's wing contains an immense array of interconnected nano-scale coiled springs that form a unique optical material. We used this concept to develop our photonic crystal device," researcher Dr Mark Turner, said.
Using 3D laser nano-technology, researchers built a photonic crystal with properties that don't exist in naturally occurring crystals, specifically one that works with circular polarisation. This miniature device contains over 750,000 tiny polymer nano-rods.
The photonic crystal acts as a miniature polarising beam splitter which is used in modern technology - such as telecommunications, microscopy and multimedia - are built from naturally occurring crystals, which work for linearly polarised light but not circularly polarised light.
"We believe we have created the first nano-scale photonic crystal chiral beam splitter," Director of the Centre for Micro-Photonics at Swinburne, Professor Min Gu, said.
"It has the potential to become a useful component for developing integrated photonic circuits that play an important role in optical communications, imaging, computing and sensing.
"The technology offers new possibilities for steering light in nano-photonic devices and takes us a step closer towards developing optical chips that could overcome the bandwidth bottleneck for ultra-high speed optical networks," said Gu.
The study was published in the journal Nature Photonics.

Samsung is one of the leading electronic goods manufacturer.Samsung has released the most awaiting Samsung Galaxy Note3 into the market.Samsung is giving its latest Galaxy Note3 a stylish makeover. The Galaxy Note 3, unveiled Wednesday, has a soft, leather-like back. It feels like you're holding a fancy leather-bound journal. Grooves on the side of the big-screen phone make it easier to grip.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a bigger screen than its predecessor, measuring 5.7 inches (14.5 centimetres) diagonally compared with the Note 2's 5.5 inches (14 centimetres). But Samsung Galaxy Note3 still weighs less (5.9 ounces (167 grams), compared with 6.4 ounces (182 grams) and is slightly thinner [at 0.33 inch (8.4 millimetre) rather than 0.37 inch (9.4 millimetre)].

The biggest changes are with the S Pen. The pen unlocks a new feature called Air Command. With that, you can open five other features:
Features:
*With Action Memo, you can handwrite a note.
* Scrapbook lets you circle content you like, such as a YouTube video or a news article. It automatically saves and organizes the content into a format that's easy to scroll through. Scrapbook, with its boxy format, looks a lot like social media site Pinterest.
* Screen Write captures a screen and allows you to write comments on that captured image.
* S Finder is the phone's search engine, to find chat messages, documents or other content on the phone.
* Pen Window, the most promising of the five, lets you access one of eight apps by drawing a box of any size on the screen. Let's say you're on a Web page and need to calculate something. You can open Air Command, then Pen Window. Draw a box on the screen, and eight icons pop up. You then click the one for the calculator. Pen Window currently opens a limited number of applications: calculator, clock, YouTube, phone, contacts, a Web browser and two separate chat apps _ Samsung's ChatON and Google's Hangouts.
It's possible Pen Window will support additional apps later.

The price of Samsung Galaxy Note 3  is $860.
Yahoo is one of largest mail providing service across the world-similarly yahoo logo too.Yahoo has changed its logo to a new yahoo logo for the first time after the internet company has started 18 years ago.The redesigned look unveiled late Wednesday is part of a makeover that Yahoo Inc. has been undergoing since the Sunnyvale, California, company hired Google executive Marissa Mayer to become Yahoo's CEO 14 months ago.

Mayer has already spruced up Yahoo's front page, email and Flickr photo-sharing service, as well as engineered a series of acquisitions aimed at attracting more traffic on mobile devices.

The shopping spree has been highlighted by Yahoo's $1.1 billion purchase of Tumblr, an Internet blogging service where the company rolled out its new logo.

The logo was shown both with purple letters and in white with a purple background spelling out the word Yahoo!, with no letters touching and ending with an exclamation point.

''We wanted a logo that stayed true to our roots (whimsical, purple, with an exclamation point) yet embraced the evolution of our products,'' a statement on the website said.

In an effort to drum up more interest in the changeover, Yahoo spent the past 30 days showing some of the proposed logos that Mayer and other executives cast aside.

The revision is the first time that Yahoo has made a significant change to its logo since a few tweaks shortly after co-founders Jerry Yang and David Filo incorporated the company in 1995.

Mayer's overhaul of Yahoo has attracted a lot of attention, but so far it hasn't provided a significant lift to the company's revenue. Yahoo depends on Internet advertising to make most of its money, an area where the company's growth has been anemic while more marketing dollars flow to rivals such as Google Inc. and Facebook Inc.

Yahoo's stock has climbed by nearly 80 percent, but most of that gain has been driven by the company's 24 percent stake in China's Alibaba Holdings Group. Investors prize Alibaba because it has emerged as one of the fastest growing companies on the Internet.

"As everyone finds it difficult to stay away from chocolate we decided to name the new version of android software after one of our favourite chocolate treats."

The list of Android software names over the years includes Cupcake, Donut, Ice Cream Sandwich, and Jelly Bean.

In a promotion deal, Google is enticing people with chances to win android-powered Nexus 7 tablets or credit at its online Play shop by buying kitkat candy bars featuring Android robot icons on wrappers.

Android software powers more than a billion smartphones or tablets worldwide, according to Google.

Smartphones powered by Google's Android software increased their global market share as iPhones lost ground in the absence of new models being unleashed by Apple, the International Data Corporation reported last month.

Android software share of the smartphone market grew to 79.3 per cent in the second quarter while that of iPhone slipped to 13.2 per cent from 16.6 per cent in the same three-month period last year, according to IDC figures.

Many people are well known about spiderman features such as the ability of spiderman to crawl on walls. The German designers have created a lightweight robot that has the crawling powers like spiderman so that it can climb the walls easily like spiderman.Designers from Berlin creative firm Sonice Development created the wall-climbing Vertwalker. The main technology that drives the Vertwalker is a clever sealing lip on the underside of the robot that can hold a vacuum but doesn't create a lot of friction when moved.

This  technology was developed independently of the Vertwalker by Achim Meyer, a friend and collaborator of the robot's creators. The designers Julian Adanauer and Christoper Haasover at Sonice immediately saw the possibilities: the system could be used to give the robot spiderman-like wall crawling powers.

"The Vertwalker works autonomously with a fixed set of rules that make use of the internal sensors and keep it within a specified area on the wall," Adanauer told fastcodesign.com. "A pattern then emerges from these rules. It can be interesting to see the unexpected art that comes when the robot's "perfect" digital rules come face to face with an "imperfect" material world," Adanauer said. Currently, the Vertwalker only creates generative line drawings and scrawling patterns.

"What we're really interested in is having multiple Vertwalkers performing choreographies on walls. We want it to be like a dance of drones," said Adanauer. To make this happen, Sonice is currently working on putting a crowdfunding effort together to produce 50 Vertwalkers. The Vertwalker is currently on display at the Saatchi Gallery in London.

iPhones will be frequently attacked with DOS.In the past, it was revealed that a vulnerability within OS X / iOS left users potentially susceptible to a DoS-like attack. Although Apple is usually fairly swift in clearing up any issues that could defame the relatively secure nature of its major ecosystems, renowned jailbreak developer Filippo Biga has come through with a tweak-based solution for those on jailbroken iOS devices.
Since, without a jailbreak, there’s no way to reach those system files deep within iOS’s make-up, you will need to be jailbroken in order to install GlyphPatch, the tweak patching the security hole.
The DoS attack could be triggered by a hacker through various mediums, including SMS, iMessage, or network SSID, so protecting yourself by downloading this free tweak is highly recommended.
The DOS attack  doesn' t appear, from the release notes, to be a foolproof solution, rather another line of defense against the problem.
The vulnerability causes apps to implode when attempting to render a malicious sequence of code, and with iMessage having come under scrutiny in the past for its lack of spam prevention features, it is, at least, good to know that steps are being taken to rectify the situation with iOS 7 in iPhones.

No matter how secure your device may feel, make sure you go ahead and download this tweak. The DoS attacks are not particularly widespread at this point in time, but if device security is near the top of your agenda, GlyphPatch will only take a couple of minutes to install, therefore it’s highly recommended that you do so.

Voice recognition is one of the oldest technique in digital industry.Voice recognition tech has been around for a number of years, but only did it really make its mark on the digital industry back in 2011, when Apple dropped  for the iPhone 4S. Since then, it has become a mainstay, and Sony has just confirmed that its upcoming playstation4 console will indeed feature voice recognition.
Although announced all the way back in February about playstation, Sony has been drip-feeding information regarding the next-gen console, and having just learned of a rather cool downloading feature, which allows smartphone users to wake up their machine remotely in order to download a game, this voice recognition implementation is certain to please the ardent geeks.Rumors running back from Spring pointed to this kind of feature making the final cut of the PS4, but only now has the Japanese company given the official word. Apparently, it will work through the PlayStation Camera, although unlike the Xbox One, which comes with the Kinect sensor out of the box, you’ll have to pony up for this peripheral if you decide on the PlayStation 4; this is unless, of course, you decide to opt for one of the special bundles offering the PlayStation Camera as part of the deal.

Sony has revealed that it will divulge more information as to the extent of the voice recognition "shortly," so while now know the technology is to be there, we don’t, as yet, know exactly how Sony plans to use it.

Sony’s decision not to bundle the PlayStation Camera is an interesting one, particularly given that Microsoft’s Xbox One will bring Kinect to every single owner of the console.

Lenovo is one of the most widely used computers now-a-days. Lenovo has launched new thinkpads. Lenovo's new ThinkPads may still have their little TrackPoint nubs and their round-bottom keys, but the company's made some big changes to its lineup of black box laptops. The company's new ThinkPads are lighter, sleeker, longer-lasting, and they're not even technically black anymore — they're "Graphite Black." It's a big change for the famously change-resistant line of black box laptops, but from what we've seen the changes seem to be for the better thinkpads.

The lower-end ThinkPad T-series is getting two new 14-inch ultrabook models: the T440 and the T440s. These new thinkpads are lighter and thinner than their predecessors, and come with the much larger trackpad that we first saw in the T431s and the ThinkPad Helix. They're virtually identical in build quality, but the T440s is considerably higher-end: it comes with up a Core i7 processor and has a built-in 1080p touchscreen, whereas the T440 has options for only a Core i5 and you'll pay extra for the touchscreen. The T440 is also $899 instead of $1,149 for the T440s. All of Lenovo's new ThinkPads include the company's new Power Bridge technology, which uses both an internal and a removable battery to let you swap batteries without having to shut your computer down. These batteries are one-size-fits-all, too, so they're interchangeable between all the new ThinkPad notebooks. Between Power Bridge and Lenovo's adoption of Haswell chips, battery life probably won't be an issue for ThinkPad users anymore.

HTC latest mobiles have been the best the company has made. HTC have got two widely used models in mobiles. The HTC One is a dazzling behemoth of metal and glass, with an all-aluminium back. If its 4.7in display is just too big for you, there’s the HTC One Mini mobile which isn’t quite as high-end but still impressive and more manageable with its 4.3in screen HTC promised that new blue versions of both mobiles will be out soon. So that’s the premium end of the market covered.HTC’s mobile other sub-brand, Desire, is alive and well.
Although it can’t match the One’s screen resolution or expensive materials. it’s a snazzy mobile with elegant design lines that feels good in the hand and offers strong value. The white and blue colour option that looked a little low-end in photographs turns out to be a classy, gleaming handset. It also includes a reasonable quad-core processor and HTC’s own front page, BlinkFeed. This is an app taken from the higher-end One handsets and offers a ribbon of tiles that give you bites of information in an appealing and instant way. You choose what inputs feature, including news stations and social networking feeds.

But the main news was the range of extra phones and accessories. There are two more Desires imminent. The x is the bigger of the two, with a 4.5in display and 1.4GHz processor, the same chip found in the HTC One Mini. Like the Mini it has a big stereo speakers on the front for what HTC calls BoomSound immersive audio. It also has BlinkFeed and a 5MP camera. Technically that means it’s higher-resolution than the snapper on the One phones, but they have what HTC calls Ultrapixels – bigger pixels on a bigger sensor which pull in light more accurately and effectively. The Desire has just, you know, pixels, not Ultrapixels. HTC says the Desire 601 will sit near the top of the Desire range but a little below the One Mini.

Coming soon is the Desire 300, with a smaller display, 4.3ins. It’s as close as HTC will get to entry-level, by which it means it’ll be more affordable but not cheap or under-powered. Unlike the 601, the 300 is not a 4G-compatible phone, so you won’t be enjoying the super-fast data speeds coming on stream now. If you don’t live in London, and aren’t with EE, this may not matter to you just yet as only EE has 4G coverage in a lot of places – just over 100 towns and cities, in fact.

Also announced were the HTC BoomBass – a 6.4cm cube speaker which uses Bluetooth and NFC to play music from your mobile. It has a strange base that slides out. It doesn’t improve the sound, it just gives you a place to plonk your handset. The battery lasts nine hours between charges.

There’s also a keyring gadget called the HTC Fetch. Forgot where you left your mobile? Press the Fetch’s button and it’ll make the phone play a tune. And if you can’t find the key ring, the phone can cause the Fetch to sing to you.

Finally, the HTC Mini Plus is a tiddler of a handset that looks like a home mobile. It has no direct connection to the mobile phone network. It links by Bluetooth to your smartphone or tablet so it can stay in your bag, say, while you answer the call on the Mini Plus. This is handy for people concerned about radiation levels from mobile phones as the Bluetooth link is much lower-powered. It can also be used as a way to trigger your HTC One’s camera shutter remotely, for instance.

With Samsung's supposed September 4 Galaxy Note III unveiling event just a week away, now we hear rumours about the expected release dates for the device in various markets.
A new report claims that the Galaxy Note III will reportedly go on sale on September 27 in the Taiwanese market, while the device will be up for pre-orders from September 16.
Earlier, a Samsung official had confirmed that the company will be unveiling the next-generation Galaxy Note device and the long-rumoured Galaxy Gear smart watch on September 4. There have been reports that suggested that the South Korean major may start shipping the Galaxy Note III in September itself. An earlier report had indicated the likely shipping date of the latest Note device to be from week 36, which is from September 2 to September 8.
Recently, a new set of leaked images of the alleged Galaxy Note III screen surfaced online, that suggested that the next Galaxy Note device will feature a 5.68-inch display.

Many people have the interest in painting, drawing, coloring. The 3Doodler, new artistic tool that let’s your imagination be your limit. The 3Doodler lets you create your designs in the air, where they magically transform into handheld art that you can put anywhere. By using melting ABS or PLA plastic the 3Doodler draws in the air, or on surfaces. It’s compact and easy to use. You simply plug it in, and as the plastic flows, you can start drawing almost anything. As the 3Doodler draws, it extrudes this heated ABS or PLA plastic, which cools and quickly solidifies into a strong and relatively stable object. So if you’ve ever dreamed of having your drawings lift off the page and take their place on your bookshelf, this is the tool for you. As with anything else worth doing, there seems to be a bit of a learning curve, but with practice, you should be able to make some amazing creations.
